The Mission Board has been charged with serving as the missionary arm of our church.
The Board is comprised of a group of people, appointed by the Rector, who are convinced that God has a “world-sized” role for St. Clements. This is a group of church members who have been given a strategic intent. We no longer dream about what could happen, but we are convinced that certain things must happen. God has given us a clear and simple command to fulfill: to see that Jesus Christ is worshipped and followed in every people, tribe, and nation in the world.
This Mission Board has spent time trying to discern the most effective strategy for reaching the world for Jesus Christ. We undertook an ambitious agenda for the year 2007, and believe that thousands of lives were impacted and changed eternally.
The Board is comprised of fourteen lay members, a permanent ex-officio member, the Rector Bill Cobb, and the Rev. Bill Francis. The names of the lay members are: Steve Anderson, Austin Degenhart, Cinco Feuille, Frank Feuille, Rickie Feuille, Charles Gaddy, Oscar Gereda, Ed Howell, Ross Landers, Don Morrill, Jim Sammons, Susie Stowe, Bill Wade, Anne Walker, and Melanie Wayne.
The Mission Board usually meets monthly, the fourth Monday of the month, except December.
