Holy Week: Events for April 13 to 20
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on April 13th, with a procession from the garden into the church. On Wednesday we will have our last 40 Day Cafe. Then on Thursday we will host a traditional Maundy Thursday Service at 7 pm. Our Good Friday service of meditations and Stations of the Cross will take place at noon. All services are in the Main Sanctuary.
Holy Saturday at Mount Cristo Rey
On April 19th we will meet at the base of Mt. Cristo Rey at 8 am for a pilgrimage to the top of the mountain, where we will pray over the cities of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez.
We will begin with the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday at 6:30 pm. Easter day services will take place on Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 am. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO 7:45 AM SERVICE. We have also been invited to participate in a 6:30 am sunrise service at El Paso High School sponsored by First Baptist Church.
Easter Lilies: Memorial and Thanksgiving
Celebrate the season of Easter with beautiful lilies. Envelopes to order lilies are in the Anchor and can be picked up at the church office. Flowers can be ordered in memory of or in thankgiving for a loved one. Envelopes are due Sunday, April 13th.
Adult Confirmation Classes
Adult Confirmation/Reception classes take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm until the end of May. We will break for Holy Week.
St. Clement's Spring Picnic
Join us on May 4, 2014 following the 10:30 service for our annual picnic. A wonderful time of fun, food, and getting to know fellow parishioners!
