The Cathedral Guild has been serving the St. Clements community, representing the church family, calling upon members of the parish when there is a death in the family.  We try to go to the home as soon as possible so as to be aware of any particular needs of the family. 

Members of the Guild, generally, are asked to call on families in their own neighborhoods.  The Guild does not have meetings or formal training, although appropriate materials are available and are helpful as guidelines.

When calling on a family, the Guild visitor takes a booklet, Comfort for Those Who Mourn, information regarding various practical aspects of bereavement, and a Memory Folder to record various courtesies and remembrances of friends.  On occasion, we provide food, transportation, house-sitting and other minor duties.

The Director of the Cathedral Guild for many, many years has been Carolyn Driver.  She is retiring from the Guild this year, and has turned over the Guild to Barbara Hyatt.  Please contact her if you are interested in helping out.  WaltH80339@aol.com  or 915-584-1028
